Obama is scheduled to lead an economic summit at Carnegie Mellon University on Thursday. Which is kind of cool. Except I can’t go, ’cause I’m not living in Pittsburgh yet (next week!). That’s OK, because you can’t go either: it’s invite-only and if you’re reading this page, you weren’t invited—trust me.
I’m interested to see how Obama deals with the weird racial politics that the national media seeemed to think affected his campaign in PA. It’s going to be an interesting Autumn, for sure.

It’s funny — driving in today, I saw all the trucks and media, and without knowing what was going on I said to myself “Oh, Obama must be in town.”
