Rust Valley is a set of writing and collected data about Technology and Life in Pittsburgh. It’s written by me, Todd Underwood. I recently moved from Lebanon, NH to Pittsburgh, PA.
I recently started working for Google, a company you may have heard of. We do search, free webmail, pictures online, shopping and we even make a cool operating system for phones. I work on some systems engineering for ads quality—that’s a fancy way of saying we try to show people ads they like, because that’s better for users and better for advertisers.
I’ve started working on the Rust Wiki, an editable collection of information about Pittsburgh (and ultimately other cities in the region, should other’s choose to get involved). That all started with a housewarming party.

Todd,
Welcome to the Burghosphere! I’m a IT geek working in and loving the Burgh, though I’m a native. If there’s anything I can do to ease your transition to either the Burgh or the Burghosphere feel free to let me know. I love the posts so far, it is interesting to see what a recently settled Burgher thinks of the city.
Jonathan
